In the year of celebrating the 35th anniversary of the independence of Turkmenistan, students of our country successfully perform at international educational competitions. One of them is Seydi Gurtgeldi Khanov, a student at the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after Seitnazar.
During the year, Gurtgeldi Khanov took part in several international mathematical Olympiads and received various awards.
At the “Bukhara International Mathematical Olympiad” (BIMO-2026), held by the Bukhara State University of the Republic of Uzbekistan, he won a gold medal in the individual round and a silver medal in the team round.
Also at the “VI International Open Olympiad for Students in Mathematics” (OMOUS-2026), organized by the International University of Humanities and Development, he won a gold medal in the individual round and a silver medal in the team competition.
And at the “Mathematics Olympiad for Nordic Students”, organized by the National Research University ITMO in St. Petersburg (Russian Federation), a Turkmen student was awarded a 1st degree diploma. In addition, he won a silver medal at the International Mathematical Olympiad held in Bulgaria.
Gurtgeldi Khanov also successfully performed in the educational competition “Student of the Year”, held by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan among students of higher educational institutions of the country, and took second place.
These successes of the young student indicate the high level of his preparation in mathematics and his contribution to raising the authority of Turk
