Turkmenistan continues to work to protect the health of the population, improve the quality of medical services and modernize the material and technical base of the healthcare system. For these purposes, it is planned to implement two large projects in the healthcare sector in Lebap velayat.

As noted at the regular meeting of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, held on September 23, the planned projects are aimed at expanding access of residents of the velayat to modern medical services.

A new multidisciplinary hospital will be built in Kerki

The first project involves the construction of a new multidisciplinary hospital in the Kerkin etrap. The new medical facility is designed to provide medical services in various areas not only to residents of the Kerkinsk etrap, but also to the population of nearby etraps.

The creation of interdistrict hospitals can help meet the population's need for specialized medical care and increase the accessibility of medical services. The construction of similar hospitals is also planned in other velayats of the country.

An international-level cancer center will be created in Lebap

The second major project planned for implementation in the velayat involves the construction of an international-level cancer center. This center could be important for expanding medical capabilities in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer.

The creation of an oncology center will create conditions for the development of specialized medical services in the velayat and expanding the opportunities for patients to receive the necessary care.

These two planned projects will be an important step in the development of the healthcare system of Lebap velayat. Their implementation will contribute to the ongoing work to protect public health and improve the quality of medical services.
