In the city of Turkmenabat, a new complex of buildings of the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after Seyidnazar Seidi with 5,000 seats is being prepared for commissioning.
As part of the work to modernize the material and technical base of the education system and create new opportunities for higher educational institutions, it is planned that the new complex, built as part of this activity, will be solemnly put into operation on September 1, 2026 through a teleconference with the blessing of the President of Turkmenistan.
In accordance with the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan No. 596 dated June 14, 2023, it was allowed to conclude an agreement with the Nahal business company for the construction of a new complex of buildings of the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after Seyidnazar Seidi for 5,000 places in the city of Turkmenabat.
Construction work on the new building complex began in September 2023, and its full commissioning was planned for September 2026.
The structure of the new complex includes 2 faculty buildings, 5 dormitories, 1 residential building for teachers, a library, a canteen, a sports building, 3 complexes of technical buildings, 1 utility building, 2 checkpoints, 4 covered parking lots with 200 spaces each, as well as 1 sports ground.
This large-scale construction project aims to take the institute's learning and living conditions to a new level. The creation of a new complex of buildings will provide modern conditions for study, living and recreation for students and teachers receiving higher education.
The Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after Seidnazar Seidi, being one of the important higher educational institutions of the education system of our country, trains specialists in various fields. The new complex of buildings will not only further strengthen the educational and material base of the institute, but will also open up ample opportunities for young people interested in the teaching profession to receive education in modern conditions.
On September 1, 2026, with the commissioning of a new complex of buildings through a teleconference, another important event will occur in the education system of the city of Turkmenabat.
