The Department of Civil Defense and Rescue Works of Lebap Velayat held a training seminar on the issues of providing assistance to the population in the event of natural disasters and increasing the preparedness of citizens for emergency situations.
The event was attended by international experts, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and other relevant departments.
During the training seminar, issues of timely notification of the population in the event of natural disasters and other emergency situations, ensuring the safety of citizens, as well as developing their skills of correct behavior in such circumstances were considered. The participants exchanged opinions and shared their experience in this area.
Representatives of the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan and the Department of Civil Defense and Rescue Work of the velayat spoke in detail about the methods of providing first aid to victims of various natural and social incidents, as well as the sequence of necessary actions.
The question and answer sessions held during the seminar, as well as the demonstrated educational videos, contributed to expanding the knowledge of the participants and improving their practical skills.
Such training seminars are important for improving public preparedness for emergency situations, ensuring the effectiveness of rescue operations and developing a culture of safety in society.
