A ceremonial event was held in the Chardzhe district of Lebap velayat to mark the start of the 2026 wheat sowing season. The blessing (ak pata) for sowing was given on a plot of 24 hectares owned by the tenant of the Vatan peasant association, Serdar Raimov.
The solemn event was attended by the khyakim of Lebap velayat and his deputies, khyakims of etraps, relevant leaders of the velayat and etrap levels, elders, managers and workers of the agricultural industry, residents of the velayat who were awarded state awards, as well as cultural figures.
As part of the event, along with demonstration performances demonstrating the sowing process, an exhibition of agricultural machinery was organized. 24 John Deere tractors and 31 CLAAS tractors belonging to the Lebapobakhyzmat production association took part in the field work.
In addition, during the event, exhibitions of agricultural products and works of applied art were launched, as well as musical performances by cultural figures.
After the musical performances, the respected elders expressed their good wishes for successful sowing, growing a generous harvest and prosperity for the farmers, after which they blessed the beginning of the sowing season.
The event held in the Chardzhe etrap showed that in the Lebap velayat, preparations for the 2026 wheat sowing season were carried out at a high organizational level.
