A training seminar dedicated to the issues of social protection of the population, providing assistance to citizens in need of support, as well as improving the efficiency of social services was held at the social service institution for elderly people and persons with disabilities in the city of Turkmenabat.
The seminar was attended by specialists working in the relevant field in the city of Ashgabat and in all velayats of the country. During the event, organized to exchange experience, study best practices and develop interdepartmental cooperation, the ongoing work to improve the standard of living of the population and provide care to people in need of social support was discussed in detail.
During the seminar, the head of the department of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Turkmenistan, Shemshat Abdyeva, made a report on the organization of social services at home, as well as work to support the independent lifestyle of people using these services. She stressed the importance of ensuring accessibility of social services and helping citizens obtain the necessary support in everyday life.
Also, the chairman of the institution for social services for elderly people and persons with disabilities in the city of Turkmenabat, Ogulgurban Orazmyradova, spoke about the experience of the institution and measures taken to improve the living conditions of people using its services.
During the training seminar, along with the exchange of best practices, special attention was paid to improving social services and more effectively organizing assistance to citizens in need of support.
Such events help enrich the professional experience of specialists, strengthen mutual cooperation and improve the quality of social services provided to the population.
