Dursun Dzhumaeva is known not only for her professional activities, but also for her interest in history, national heritage and mysterious pages of the past. Even during the years of working as a machine operator in the Lebap peasant association of the Halach etrap, she devoted her free time to studying the history of her native village, collecting information about past events and historical figures.
First of all, her attention was drawn to the past of her native village, the life path of fellow villagers who participated in the Great Patriotic War, as well as the difficulties that women who lost their loved ones in the war had to face. Dursun Jumaeva was also of great interest in historical finds discovered in ancient fortresses located on the territory of the village and etrap. By studying and collecting this valuable information, she sought to become more deeply acquainted with the historical heritage of her native land.
A passion for history and culture sent Dursun Dzhumaeva to a new professional path. In 1985, she entered the library department of the then Ashgabat Cultural and Educational College named after Gara Seyitliev. Having successfully completed her studies, she continued her career as a librarian.
Thus, purposefully following her interests, Dursun Dzhumaeva took an important step towards her dream. Her life path shows that the desire to study historical and cultural values opens up new opportunities for a person.
